HOW TO USE
GRIP
These three fingers are the key. The loop is placed in the middle finger and the end of the leash is clamped with the index finger and thumb.
BALL
The ball is placed on the two central ropes and adjusted slightly. It will be held in place by centrifugal force.
SPIN
Swing it and spin it around. A gentle spin is enough to launch the ball. Use your wrist and forearm to stabilise and gain speed and strength.
LAUNCH
One foot forward and the body slightly tilted. Visualize where you want to shoot and when you feel ready, shoot the ball by releasing the part of the leash that is held by your index finger and thumb.

ABOUT US
We are Slingdog, a young company in which we combine two great passions, our pets and history. These two passions are perfectly embodied in our lovingly designed leashes.
For as long as we can remember, dogs have always been part of our lives. On the other hand, history is a passion that has been forged over the years. We were greatly attracted by the tradition of sling shooting in Spain, and from there it is only a step to making our own slings, specifically the Balearic style slings, braided with vegetable fibers.
The walks with the slingshot and our dogs took on a new dimension. We all know the state of alert that dogs are in before an upcoming walk and the joyful tension when we prepare to take the leash to go out for a walk. All these sensations were multiplied when we also took the Slingshot on our outings.
Talking to you just by looking at you, the joy of the dog when it starts to spin the slingshot to throw the ball, those hours of quality time together, of exercise, is what we want to share with the whole world. That’s why we decided to design and patent this leash and we only hope that it gives you as many hours of fun as it has given us.
Warning

- Product only for pets. Do not leave the product unattended with pets that can ingest it. If the product is damaged, remove it immediately.
- The leash should not be used to shoot at people or animals. Never shoot upwards. Never use a damaged leash or ball. Do not let children use the leash unsupervised. Misuse and/or lack of attention can cause injuries.
- Make sure the ball can fall in a safe place. Be alert, ball may travel in unanticipated directions. Ensure that no one is in front of, behind, or next to you when using the dog leash as a launcher. Aim and shoot only in a clear area. High speed flying balls can injure to people and animals. The leash is designed for throwing tennis balls or similar weight. Heavier balls can be difficult to control in direction and distance and can cause damage to the leash and injury to the thrower.
It's simple to use. Follow the instructions, and in just a few minutes, you'll be playing with your dog. We estimate a learning curve of approximately 10-20 launches, but both you and your dog will quickly catch on.
As soon as your pup sees the leash swinging, they'll know that the fun is about to begin.
It's possible to use different types of balls with the leash, but we recommend using tennis balls or those with equivalent weight. Heavier balls may be challenging to control the direction and distance of the throw, while very heavy balls can damage the leash and injure the thrower.
A tennis ball is included with the leash as well as a complimentary cotton bag for carrying the ball on walks.
The ball we provide can easily reach 100 to 140 feet and even more. With heavier balls (0.22-0.26 pounds) you can reach 210-250 feet. Shooting with even heavier balls is not recommended at all as it can damage the leash and injure the thrower.
You don't need to turn the leash very fast to throw the ball, even one turn is enough to throw the ball far away. Take it easy at first. Enjoy and have fun with your dog.
